Quickstart

Objective: Accumulate wealth by buying and selling option contracts based on the price movement of an underlying asset. Avoid bankruptcy and reach the Net Worth target to win.

Minimum 3 players.

Setup

• Each player starts with $10k in chips.
• Designate one player as the Market Maker (aka. MM, The House).
• Shuffle and deal 5 Event Cards (can be kept secret, until played).
• The Underlying Asset Price (Asset) starts at $100.
• MM prepares a Coin to determine Asset price movement.
• MM prepares a Bell to signal Open and Close Market phases.

Gameplay Loop

1. MM tosses a coin to determine Asset price movement.
2. When Open Market begins, players trade, deal and play cards.
3. MM may toss the coin during market hours.
4. MM closes the market (bell).
5. Expiring contracts are settled, new event cards are revealed.
6. Repeat until a player hits the Net Worth goal.
